Just wanted to let you know that everything worked great. The harness was really fun to use and a miracle product, it did lift them up and pull them back. After using it for about an hour my Labrador actually walked beside me with no tension on the leash for about 2 or 3 minutes straight, which has never happened before, ever, since he constantly pulls, so I guess he must be learning from the self corrections. I could see that he wanted to pull but it was almost like there was an invisible barrier in front of him preventing him 95% of the time. The other 5 % of the time if he smelled something he really wanted to get to, he could arc his body with his nose down and keep his feet on the ground, and completely stretch out the double flex, but that was only 5% of the time. He's incredibly strong and hard headed for a Labrador. It worked 99% of the time on the German Shepherd, he's not quite as hard headed. The leashes worked great. They really absorb all of the hard pulls and lunges and make walking way more enjoyable. The double flex is a good idea. It's kind of fun watching the dogs pull and then get pulled back by the leash like a rubber band. The handles are super comfortable and I like how they wrap around my hand. It was a little difficult walking both dogs at the same time, since one would be pulling and the other not and vice versa, and when I would stop for one I was probably sending mixed signals to the other, so I'll probably walk them separately for a little while until they get used to it. I was surprised with the collars. I thought my labrador would pull so hard on it that he would still choke himself even with the padding, but with the combination of the padding and the flex in the leash he didn't cough and gag. He pulled harder than with the harness, but I was impressed with this since with a regular buckle collar and leash I can't even make it to the end of the driveway without him coughing, gagging and his eyes ready to pop out of his head. Very happy with everything. Do you think the collars for the harnesses would prevent them from the occasional lunging when they want to get something? I would be interested in trying them out.

One other thing I forgot to say about the harnesses. When I took them out of the box I thought, wow, these are probably going to be hard to put on every time, but they're not, they're very easy and quick to put on.
Joe will be trying out the collars that fit the harnesses. Yes Joe it will stop your dogs from pulling the other 5% of the time. The harness collar does this by not allowing the dog to put their heads down into the pull. This is done without pain or causing anxiety for the dog.

I am shocked at how well the harness works for my dog, Foo. Foo was a very persistent puller. His pulling nature had overcome a pinch collar, a gentle leader, bouts of screaming, and obedience school (although he did learn to wait patiently at stoplights before resuming his maniacal pulling). Nevertheless, he was my faithful running companion, and I had resigned to a steady tug at the end of the leash. With the harness, the incessant pulling stopped almost immediately. The running leash, which is well thought out and much more comfortable than just looping a regular leash around my waist, makes running with Foo even more enjoyable. --Jon Bradley
